ARSONISTS GET ALL THE GIRLS Begins Work On New Material

June 29, 2010

Santa Cruz, California-based progressive hardcore/death metallers ARSONISTS GET ALL THE GIRLS have commenced the songwriting process for their new album, tentatively due next year via Century Media Records.

Commented guitarist Arthur Alvarez: "We already have about three rough songs and a million crazy ideas." He added, "This album is going to be our hardest-hitting yet!"

ARSONISTS GET ALL THE GIRLS is preparing to hit the road as part of the "Over The Limit" North American tour alongside AS BLOOD RUNS BLACK, OCEANO, THE TONY DANZA TAPDANCE EXTRAVAGANZA, THICK AS BLOOD, BURNING THE MASSES, CIRCLE OF CONTEMPT and BLIND WITNESS. This massive trek, which kicks off on July 23 and runs through August 21, also features SON OF AURELIUS and THIS OR THE APOCALYPSE on select dates.

Added Alvarez: "We couldn't be more excited for this 'Over The Limit' tour. We feel that this lineup makes up for a really diverse package and gives people something different than all the other tours going on this summer. DANZA is on it and since they are some of our best friends it is always a blast whenever we get to tour together. SON OF AURELIUS are also on part of it and I'm telling you that you cannot miss this band. So come out early and bring all your friends."

ARSONISTS GET ALL THE GIRLS' latest album, "Portals", was released in July 2009 via Century Media Records. The CD was recorded by Zack Ohren (AS BLOOD RUNS BLACK, ALL SHALL PERISH) and features 11 glorious grinders like "My Cup's Half Empty" and "Violence in Fluid - Triceratops".

According to a press release, "Portals" sees ARSONISTS GET ALL THE GIRLS "in new form, now using only one vocalist instead of their previous two-singer attack. The presence of the one vocalist serves to sharpen the band's straight-ahead metal attack and more importantly creates a cohesive album the flows perfectly from start to finish."
